New animated GIFs not animated?

I uploaded several animated GIFs to this gallery:

and they aren't animating...
I did this once before here:

and it worked fine.
It looks like the gallery customizations are the same. The photo sizes are slightly differed - the new ones are 800 pixels on the long side, the working one was a little smaller.
The images seemed to uploaded properly. It I save them back to my machine, they animate just fine.
Any clues - maybe it takes a while for the animation to process?

If you go to that gallery, with view mode set to Smugmug, the animation shows if your window is large enough. If you shrink your window to half height, the reduced image only shows the last frame.
I suppose it would be nice to have the smaller versions also be animated, if possible.
