In your top b&w conversion, her dress appears very black, and blends a bit into the background shadows. Have you been using the channel mixer method of conversion? if so, you might be able to take advantage of one or another channel emphasis applied selectively to bring out more detail and more separation there. This comment holds true for most of this set...
Yuri, I'm very new to this and do not feel even close to being qualified to remark on your work, but the first shot is one of the most amazing shots I've seen...after I got over the "wow, that one grabs you" feeling I really feel like she's sitting right across from me. I don't know if it's the contrast between her face and the background or what, but I do know that I like it a lot!
