Dad in Garage

I haven't had much time for pictures this year. Had to make unplanned trip to be with my Mom while she had a biopsy. Results tomorrow. My Dad isn't one to pose for pictures so I just tried to grab shots of him in his garage. That fits him better than a posed picture anyway. I didn't want to check luggage so I only brought the new 50mm lens.

Your dad is so cute with his concentrating look- I know that look well from my dad! (Only whenever my dad sees the camera he sticks his tounge out every time!)

That is going to be a sweet ride when he is finished! What a huge job!

    Thanks for sharing!

Magnolias are blooming? Gosh I got to get back to my old house (the only good part of the house was the HUGE Magnolia tree in the front yard). Great shots of your Dad, I need to do the same thing, thanks for sharing!

These are really nice shots. It appears that you did well in what was probably fairly poor light. Reminds me of my dad...and also of a lowrider pickup that I redid for my son. I think your dad and I own the same paint gun. Thanks for sharing. i bet they would look great also in BW...a sort of journalistic look.

-I think it may have been a good thing you only had the 50mm. Sometimes, a prime lens can really simplify composing. You don't get those lazy..."I am too lazy to move"... compositions. Rather you move...compose...reposition...compose and shoot...only after it is perfect.

Again...thanks for sharing a wonderful series of photographs.
