Need advice - Lighting Fixtures.

A co-workers wife works for a small lighting fixtures company. I spoke with her today. The company she works for need photos for their catalog, of lighting fixtures that are already installed - in Vegas! At least three locations.

They'll fly me out, cover transportation around town and fly me back home (I live in So Cal). It'll probably be a one-day shoot.

My question: How much should I charge? What's the going rate? Is there a going rate?

I don't have strobe equipment, so I'm planning to white balance and use reflectors to bounce the light from the fixtures onto themselves. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

I would need more info than this, but the first thing that pops into my noodle is look at two days, not one. It could take you an hour to get from one location to the next.

What kind of light fixtures? Large, industrial, small decorative? Highly reflective?

you may really NEED strobes, or other equipment. If so where can you rent them?

    A tripod is your friend.

Are there any lights local that you could photograph to test with?
