This is not related to the full screen slideshow.

In the pastm when I select the 'slideshow' option from the drop down style list, my pictures are smaller then it was in the past. Has some of the settings changed? Even when I select 'large', my pictures does not become large at all. In the past, I recall my pcitures are displayed large with no borders.
How do I get my slideshow display my pictures as large as when they are displayed using the 'Smugmug' option under the Styles drop down list?
The slideshow display use to be much bigger.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Pat

Hello Pat, sorry for your trouble! We can help - but in order to do so, we need to see your website, and in particular, a specific gallery where this is happening - thanks!

Ok thanks for the link - I also see now you are asking about two different styles, SmugMug style and slideshow style - and I'm confused as to your question so would you mind restating it?

I was just comparing the pic size between the Smugmug style and the Slideshow style. Notice the slideshow style, my pictures does not fill the area where the pics displays? If I select size:medium, the pic box gets bigger but my picture does not and my pic pix and/or resolution is big enough to fill that space. It was never like that in the past. All my pics filled the area completely.

Is there anyway of making my pics in the style:slideshow as big as the style:smugmug pic which are displayed on the right of the screen which is nice and large?

Would any kind soul help me with this?
In the past, when I did a Style:Slideshow, all of my pictures would fit into the pre-defined size of the picture display area. I noticed that this is not the case now as my pic are displaying not as large as before even though I selected the 'Large' option. My picture remains the same size but the pre-defined layout expands to a larger size.
My pics size have not changed.

The newest generation of the slideshow will show your pictures only as large as you have them enabled. If Large is the largest display size you allow, then that is the largest size you will see in the slideshow. If you want to see larger sizes, then you should enable XL, XL2 or XL3 and convert your gallery to Smugmongous to generate the larger sizes.

I believe some earlier versions of the slideshow would upscale your Large image to fit the screen, but that often generated bad looking results so that is no longer done. It's much better to enable larger sizes that can be made from your original than to have a slideshow that upscales from the Large size.

    Thanks.
Is this related to the fullscreen slideshow? I'm more interest in the Styles:Slideshow option.
Where can I enable the other sizes?
    I'll have a look.
How do you set to Smugmongous as a matter of curiosity?
Here's a link to a sample slideshow. Notice my horizontal pics? It does not fit intop the predefined space., not even if I change the size f rom Med to Large in the dropdown list next to the Fullscreen button.

I was talking about the full screen slideshow. The style:slideshow looks like it's working as expected to me. The images are filling their long direction upto the L size.

If you go the customize gallery for that gallery, then you can pick the "Largest Size" that can be displayed. The gallery you linked looks like it's already set for Original as the max size so you are getting all possible sizes which I can see in the full screen slideshow. I guess the Style:slideshow just doesn't go any larger than the Large size.
