Birds In Flight, additional
from Saturday. I think these are better than the ones I originally liked. I checked very carefully to make sure nothing was blown and that the birds were in focus. I hope the background is not distracting, I am hoping the bokeh helps a bit. Comments? I really do think this is it and all. g
I spelled egret wrong in #2. Guess I just can't be perfect :rofl . Joke, joke.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
I am darned proud of my BIF shots. If I were going to blow one of my photos up big it would be the first one of these.
This was with the 300L and 1.4 extension. Rutt sent me the 2.0 extension to try out, I have to get out there this weekend. Probably will do the ospreys this weekend. I am always afraid they will be gone, but they have to have babies first.

I do love shooting birds. It is kind of like the saying "hurry up and wait". The "hurry up" is so exhilirating, and the "wait" is completely calming. And with a result like the first shot (which I didn't even notice til yesterday), the excitement can last a long time.
Thank you for the nice words, Ben, Harry, Andy and Jeff. That makes the experience even better.:D

It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not.

These are at the top of my list of photos you have ever posted. Great work.
Wow, these are great! I think you are getting the hang of it now! I'd certainly make an enlargement of one of these too!
