This proved far more difficult to get than I had ever thought it would be...
Mind you, this is only the second time ever I have seen this creature of the night in my garden...
Rolled up when disturbed...
Keeping to him/herself in the corner behind the rockery.
Sorry but the nose went behind a newly emerged leaf growth.. coudn't quite get the focus on the eye...
Snuffling along looking for food I guess, he/she got more of a bargain, but didn't get a midnight snack in the end as the slug actually got away!

The first shows their formidable defenses and is the reason I don't let my dog out after dark off leash. A neighbor's great dane got into it with one and had to make a midnight trip to the emergency Vet hospital.
