S3 Firefox Organizer question

First, I apologize for asking this question on a Smugmug support forum, but a number of you are clearly using the Amazon S3 service with the S3Firefox plugin, you guys put me on to this, and I can't find a more responsive forum anywhere. :clap
Basic question is: Where can I find a reasonably detailed explanation of this plug in? The homepage is pretty spare, there is no help file that I can find, and for the first time in my life, Google isn't helping much. I have uploaded a first set of folders, and am trying to figure out the philosophy and mechanics of folder "synchronization." I'm pretty nerdy but I must say the available explanations of the use of this plugin (and this feature particularly) are pretty pathetic.
