Last night was the first night in a long long time the wind was not blowing.
Here are a few (most after dark) things I found walking around.
I used my GF diffuser hand holding camera and flash was corded this allowed me more freedom of where the light was coming from. MM

    Thanks... everyone
Last night was great. I didn’t get home from work until dusk….but there was no wind so out the door I went. I am no expert with lighting…. In fact I find myself frustrated with it most of the time. While out last night I had a idea… take my flash (with the Gary Fong Light Sphere on it) and use it with the remote cable but don’t put it on a bracket instead hand hold it. It seemed to work; I was able to lie on the ground and get close to my subject and lay the flash right where I wanted it. I’m not sure if this is “correct” lighting but I liked the results. I will play around with it some more…. Maybe this weekend. Thanks for the great comments.

Grasshopper was happy munching on that leaf.
The green spider was on the back of a grape fruit tree leaf. The tree is very old and pretty much acts as an insect high raise apartment complex. When possible I always go into the canopy of a tree and look at the back side of the leaves…. You never know what you will find. MM
