Another from Havasu Canyon

This is a shot of one of the side streams that flows through the Havasu reservation. The golden highlights are actually reflections from the sandstone cliffs in the late afternoon/early evening light. A CPL was used to enhance the reflections. Turquoise water everywhere...

    Again, I'm stunned at the variety of colors seen in this view. What a beautiful place. thumb.gif

    Thanks, schmoo. I know its hard to believe, but these colors are entirely natural and haven't been enhanced beyond a very minor amount of a saturation boost in ACR (maybe a level 5 or so). PP was basically a bit of capture sharpening, levels/curves adjust, and then a bit of creative sharpening, with a final local contrast enhancement for some pop. That's about it...Mother Nature is responsible for the color palette.
