Marc Muench and I headed out for one extra day after the workshop in Scotland... found our way to Kilchurn Castle :thumb

This one is actually a 4 shot hand-held pano, 1/50th sec, f/8, 24-105L @ 28mm.

Here's the inside of this magnificent 15th century castle, it's a hand held panorama made of 9 1Ds Mark III files, shot in portrait orientation. Canon 24-105L IS, 1/10th sec f/11.

And here, 1/13th sec @ f/11, 40mm with the 24-105L.

Enjoy (castle) photography,

Your extra day was quite successful!

How come my shots with that lens never come out so good? headscratch.gif

The devbobo pano sure does work a treat. I love the b/w jobby on that scene. Great shots Andy and I always love seeing work from you since it's rare enough. :D

Awesome place- Like the dude with the same first name as me I would go Rambo with the camera here and burn up a card. rolleyes1.gif

Love the idea of the b&w but seems a bit flat & soft. How does one edit a pano anyways (never done one) eek7.gif

I like the last shot the most thumb.gif Depth- lighting works very nice.

    Thanks for sharing your shots.

Road runner back on hill top
Great photos Andy - Fred would love them, too, in his great quest for the quintessential Scottish castle. What a wonderful trip with fabulous locations, and generous and inspiring company all round. Now I have to get to work on the Photoshop learning curve. Will post my images in about 5 years....rolleyes1.gif
    Cheers, Sarah

Hi Fred, hi Schmoo!! Not enough time to cull images, learn PS, and keep up with all these threads!! Spend all day on the computer and the family think I've taken a turn for the worse! They could be right. Fought through a layers tutorial today for 5 hours, and went out for supper - no time to cook. Day schedule is degenerating and laundry is piling up. What have you all done to me? Is there hope?

Hope? None at all. Welcome to the family! Three days later and I'm still thrilled that you've joined us in Dgrin-space. :D
