Hi All,

My name is Tom Dietrich, and I met a few of you at the Muench Print Workshop a few weeks back. I have been working with Marc Muench for over ten years now doing their drum scanning and pre-press work. Marc has urged me to post some things for some time now, so I am finally taking the plunge, and putting a few random images up for your enjoyment and or wrath. Let me know what you think!

Hi Tom and welcome to Dgrin! What a great standard you set for us - but I would never expect anything less than marvelous from anyone who works so closely with Marc. Fantastic work! The tonal range in the beach shot is so impressive. Hope to keep seeing posts from you. :D

Very nice! My favorite is probably the sunset shot (I'm a sucker for those anyway), and the intentional zoom blur on the last flower shot (I'll have to try that sometime...).

Thanks for all of your kind comments. I have been out of town shooting a wedding for some friends of my daughter, so I hadn't been able to read your comments until now.

I'll be posting more in the near future, maybe some of the wedding shots. (The first I have shot in about 35 years!)

TOM!! Good to see you here. The poppy's are outstanding and those boats sure look familiar. I must say I felt a bit lost shooting the ocean but you're a seasoned pro at it. The sunset has a beautiful sky and the fisherman adds that extra touch that sets the shot apart. Great stuff, I hope to see plenty more from you.
