So it was cool to see the Blue Angels flying around, but im disapointed in my crappy shots. I got there late so only got to see the Blue Angels perform. I'm gonna go back tommorrow for the last showing and try and get better photos, but heres a few from today:

but shooting the sky is some like shooting snow or bright sand. The camera tells you on thing and the exposure is wrong. What do your histograms look
like? Maybe using exposure compensation is in order. Generally speaking your
exposures look nailed save for a few just a wee dark.

C&C welcome and appreciated!
I really think your images came out very good, lots of neat compositions and details.
I would be very proud to have those in my portfolio.

Hardly ever a bad seat at an air shot. I got the sunscreen setting out now. Thanks for the reminder.

Blue Angel 7 testing the temporary arresting gear after arriving Wednesday afternoon.
Will that be cash or credit?
Departing on a media flight - cleared the fence at the end of the field by about 20 feet
Dave Windmiller lost his canopy during one of the practice sessions.
Spent all day Saturday in the old control tower at Republic Airport. Bob Baranaskas had an oil leak and made a challenging safe return.
Saturday evening, the American Airpower Museum at Republic invited a number of us in to photograph the aircraft after hours. It was the second "Night Under The Stars" photo shoot we've been able to arrange with the museum.
Lots more photos here. I'll be adding photos for the next few days, I'm sure!

These are all great shots posted so far! moose it looks like you were in the sky with that Raptor!
Amazing how so many people can be at the same place but still come up with such different images!
For now here's one of mine from the parking lot at Jones Beach:
