Okay, so you all have definitely set a high standard for bird shots here, but this guy posed on a dock post and let me get pictures from eighteen inches away, and I thought it worth sharing.

I botched the full body shots though, not quite as interesting to me. Enjoy!

Looks like he's clinging on to that slanted post by the very tips of his toe-nails.....just the kind of bird shot I imagine a climber (such as yourself) could relate to!!!
