How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Oh my! This is one spectacular shot! The color is vibrant and the focus is tack sharp! What a yard bird! I will trade you some mourning doves, house sparrows and a ton of starlings for just one! mwink.gif

Great catch Mike - gotta love that clear blue winter sky! Couldn't have asked for a sharper image! Mate, what kind of berries are those? We have heaps of them around our flat as well, but I never remember to find out what kind of tree it is.

Just one?! You can have a few dozen! Can't chase them away with a stick down here... and the noise!! You'd gladly take the doves back after a week with these guys right in your backyard.

    They're not shy either.

Cheers Stephen! YEah they are beautiful, and they come in everyday, all day! There are a few other pretty birds that come in to that tree too. You'll see me post some others soon. And Erik is right, they come by the dozens!

Thanks Erik, it is a typical PErth sky! They are noisy buggers indeed! But I like the chatter. I know that tree as an umbrella tree, but can't tell you if that is right or not.
