Spent a bit of time yesterday morning in wildflowers, chasing bees. Here's one shot:
EXIF:
Olympus E-510
50mm f/2.0 macro lens with 2x teleconverter
ISO 400, f/11, 1/200 sec
C&C would be appreciated, thanks...
My verdict: better than most of my past bee shots, but I'm discovering that some flowers (like dandelions) are better for this "job" than others. The wildflowers I found this troop (swarm? flock?) of bees in didn't seem to have much nectar -- so the bees were constantly moving from flower to flower. Even at 1/200 sec, it was tough getting a shot (in broad daylight!) with a non-blurred bee.
Supplemental lighting, gotta get some...
