outstanding! I can never make the eyes look like they are in focus. The second one looks 3D especially on the hi def monitor. The water drops just to the right of center look like they are on my screen.:D
Hello Glenn and thanks for the comments on these images and I also like the second when the best. I really like all the water droplets in the air with that shot.

Hi Mark, first of all thanks for the comments on these shots. As for the eyes, you need to focus on the eyes in order to get them in nice and sharp, and the rest of the image will take care of itself. I agree those water droplets look like they are on the screen and even more so with the good LCD display like the Hi-Def which I have as well.

These are so fabulous. Could you share what you used and how you got these shots?
These shots were taken with a Canon MKIII and a 300mm L f/2.8 lens with the 2 X TC attached. This was a lens that I was testing from a friend who bought this lens and I wanted to see the out come on my camera.
I have to say that am not a fan of using a 2 X TC and would op to crop the image for better results, but these are not as bad as I would have thought.
Any other data is in the EXIF data, and I hope this is enough info that you want. Any other information please ask away.
REALLY nice Wood ducks are so beautiful. Their markings are so distinctive and make for great images. These are exceptional.
I love these birds, and I always say that I have more than enough shots of these nice birds, but when you see them again, I cannot resist photographing them, and I was glad that I did as I would have not gotten these shots. Thanks for the comments on these images.
