Built in 1745 as a working grist mill, The Olde Grist Mill in Seekonk, MA is now a fine dining restuarant. In addition to great food, the surroundings, including the mill pond make for great atmosphere. If you're ever in the area it's a place you might want to give a try. You're bound to be delighted.

Nice series. THanks for reminding me about this place. Haven't been there in over twenty years. It was under going some renovations (seems to me) last time I was by there.

Wow... I grew up in Fitchburg, Ma. and remember trips to this restaurant as a boy in the late 60's through the 70's. Sure is beautiful!

Edited to reflect that I was thinking of the wrong Old Mill... the one we went to is in Westminster, Ma.

Went to the webiste you listed. That mill is very similar. Thanks for enjoying my pictures and if you're ever in Seekonk stop in for a great meal and a place to take some nice pix.
