Would this be a good flash for an olympus E-510? I need a cheap one until I get the money for a better one. Will this do? I have no clue what to look for on a flash

These tend to be very poorly made and not something I would recommend.

If you just want a basic flash for bounce and fill applications, the Sunpak 383 Super is an "auto" and manual flash that will work with "any" camera with a standard hotshoe. It lacks a lot of the bells-and-whistles of the dedicated flashes but it does what it does reliably and with good repeatability.

Coupled with a simple flash modifier or two, it would serve you well now and you could add a slave so that it could also serve you later (as well as being a back-up for later.)

The "auto" will not replace good judgement but it's easy to understand and compensate with a little practice. Indoors, in most shooting situations, it produces good to great results, easily as good as most simple TTL flashes. Outdoors and in very large spaces or with very dark walls or reflective backgrounds are what require a bit of adjustment. (Many if not most simple TTL also have problems in the same situations.)

Around $80USD it is also very economical.

I have one as a permanent member in my kit.
