Got a little time to shoot this weekend. Can I get an ID on this guy? It's about 1/2" long. I sprayed him as I was watering the garden and he spent the next hour or so cleaning himself (as far as I can tell). 1 and 4 handheld flash, 2 and 3 available light. Still waiting on parts for my macro rig.

Yes, I know my sensor is filthy...

    Good captures :)
    It's a dronefly hoverfly - Eristalis species.
