I'm not sure these are macro photos, strictly speaking, but here goes anyway.
Lady's slipper (Cypripedium calceolus) is considered one of the most beautiful orchids that grow in Slovenia. It's quite rare and you have to know where to look for it - definitely off the beaten track.
Don't they really look like shoes? :D

We are supposed to have these (or similar) in New England in the woods, but I have never seen them. Only the 'Pink Moccasin' ones.

    Real nice series!

This a beautiful orchid Ana. Well worth seeking it out and getting
really nice images like these you have shared here. thumb.gif

You've driven me to look and see if we have anything like it in Idaho
and where it might be found. Turns out we have something similar and
its as elusive and difficult to find as yours. :D Michael

I've only seen pink ones in the wild. I'd love to see a yellow one growing in the wild. We are supposed to have some in the U.S.

You got some very nice angles on these, they are not that easy to photograph.

Our local nursery grows some of these, but they are different colors, deep red, purple, etc. They don't sell them, but rather display them only.

Pretty shots and a fair job with the exposure they are highly reflective.

    Good job on finding these.
The sad part about Wild orchards is that they are becoming rare all over the world, might have something to do with a 25 yr regrowth period if the ground is stepped on near them.

    They are so pretty
I have never seen one before. Do they grow in the wild? The last one is my favorite, I like the composure, light and focus. MM
