Friends/Family won't go away

Asking on behalf of a friend at http://mic.smugmug.com/

The Friends/Family box continues to show up for logged-in SmugMug users even though she has made sure that the box is *not* on the home page for her, and instead shows up in her Control Panel as currently hidden.

Any ideas?
