Well one clue to tell if a seller is pure rubbish is that if they sell a newly released camera, like the 40D, well under the manufactured suggested price. Cause they would then have to put together some sorta scheme to make the money back after selling that, like the necessities. Battery, camera strap, software...

So in the end you really aren't saving anything at all, and you could potentially be CC scammed.

On the other hand, I bought the 40D kit from B&H for $1,129 after rebate. Sold the 28-135 for $330, sold my Rebel XT for $300, and ended up paying $499 for a 40D!!
