Hi Ric, I like the bling in #1, ankle bracelet no less. And I really like #3, when I think of swans that is the pose that comes to mind.
There was a flock of Canadian Geese here last fall and they were sporting necklaces too. I wondered how they keep them on when they are young (when you would imagine they put them on them).
Nice set of images. I watched one doing the churn thing last weekend but it wasn't quite as vigorous as the one in your image. The last photo is my favorite also. I'm guessing that's also the one with the surgically removed collar???
Good set Ric. I wish I had some swans to shoot. One of the nearby housing developments had a pair until a bobcat paid them a call. :grim

I see these stupid things fall all the way to the eyes when they dive and flop back again when they are upright. I don't understand how they stay on and also wonder how safe for the swan it is.

You are correct about the collar...just don't tell Stephen!
After I posted the image, I realized I goofed and should have rippled the reflection where the clone is.

Thanks, Dave.
I had a sequence of nine shots on that one...so it was hard to pick one.
Thanks, Glenn.
That was the latest swan shot of the day...so best light.
