    I think this is much better. However part of taking pictures as well is the post-processing. I see that she has beautiful eyes...but as a photographer you need to try and figure out and ask yourself "how can I make my subject's colored eyes pop more?"...Just take it into PS and work magic...

    Here is my take on it...Hope you don't mind. You still had some contrast issues...but I lowered just a tad.

    Use the burn and dodge tool a little. Also if you look at your picture her eyes looked a bit flat so I took it into CS3 and brighten them up a bit. If you know CS3 and want the instructions let me know and I'll tell you exactly what I did.
