In May, my family moved from Washington, DC to Marblehead, MA. We had never been to the North Shore before - an area about 15-20 miles north of Boston. I've only been out to shoot a few times so far but, I think I'm really going to like it here....

Small launching pier two minute walk from our place:

Finally got the hang of panos:

The lighthouse on Marblehead Neck:

A pier in neighboring Swampscott

The tides here are unreal - I had to get a tide widget to keep track :thumb

Thanks guys! Hadn't realized you both had been up here before. It is a great town with awesome photo opportunities. Should keep me busy for years to come. If you're ever back in town, let me know mwink.gif

Eyal, great to see that you've settled in already. I view this series as a primer; I think with the right light (that you're so good at catching) this place will be a virtual photographic playground. There's so much to work with, you're right.

I look forward to seeing what you catch! thumb.gif

I'm only a temporary Aussie. Mass is home (although mostly Western MA, it's a small state, I know Boston and surrounds very well) nod.gif

Nice series. It is so photogenic around there. I can't believe I'm such a bum, it's only 1.5 hours from me and I haven't been up there in a few years.
