Casa Grande

Here's my first real attempt at a panorama (I only just recently figured out what the Auto-Exposure Lock was for!!! :D ). The girlfried and I stopped at Casa Grande about an hour south of Phoenix on our way back to San Diego on Monday.

It's a tough photo to take, what with the massive roof over the most compelling part of the scene. I may try an HDR of this to get some of the lost detail of the ruins, but this one was almost too much for my little laptop to handle!! :rofl

[Edit] My appologies... I've already removed the dust spots, it just looks like I posted the wrong version and I'm not with my computer at the moment...

I like the perspective, nice job. This one is hard to photograph, I've not been when I've had a camera. Drive safe.
Canon 40D, stock lens and now a Canon 55mm-250mm f/4-5.6 IS.

Karrie, here's another angle of the ruins... It looks a little overprocessed on this monitor here at work, and I've got some better shots at home waiting to be processed, but this is the one I've got access to at the moment! :D

    Thanks!
It sure is neat. That overhead cover even looks cool.
