Star*Explorer: v.117: offline & email

What's new:
  • Offline mode: now you can fiddle with uploading queue without being connected. You can now disable connect upon startup, it will connect automatically when needed.
  • SMTP email support (Options, Email (SMTP))
    Disclaimer: since SMTP protocol serves as a shield to many hacker/scammers, many ISPs disable SMTP relaying.
    I tested it and it works, but if it does not work for you- sorry, it's not my fault, "I swears"...
  • (SMTP) Email after/during upload:
    * You can get just the summary in a subject, or include such data as file name, image/gallery ids and gallery name;
    * Several details formats (including CSV and RPC-XML);
    * Optional intermediate results (you can specify sending email after so many items).

    Check Options, Upload Email tab.
  • Sebastian asked to make OK default button when reassigning images. Done.
  • Minor fixes.

    .. and another one - v.119
    • *finally* added main toolbar
    • added optional "disconnect/exit upon upload" feature.
    Combined with the recent shell extension capability and the new email feature it turns out to be a very convenient workflow:
    1. select files in your windows explorer
    2. select proper "send to" command from the context menu
    3. assign files to an album
    4. hit upload button on the toolbar
    That's it, you can go sleep/have a nice meal:-), you will receive an email on your cell phone when it's done:-)

    Used it already to upload my vikings. I was really glad to find out how convenient it is.

    I think that's the last one for this weekend.:D
