First Jumping Spiders

finally found a load of jumpers, tried best to prevent highlights blowing as they were quite light coloured.
took over 200 frames for 12 keepers.

    Wonderful series Phil - see you got a mature male in #3 with those chelicera and fangs. Some banding on a couple of the stacks.

    Michelle- if you look at #3 & #4 in the foreground - you'll see it goes alternately in and out of focus where a focus slice has been missed. Fraid it's something I'm sensitive to as I do a lot of focus stacking. Oddly you can often get away with this on the subject itself as it's not so obvious but shows up on detailed flat foreground.

    Michelle- if you look at #3 & #4 in the foreground - you'll see it goes alternately in and out of focus where a focus slice has been missed.     Ohhhhh nice going Phil clap.gif got the Jumper and Dinner as well !
    These guys are way too quick for me, I have only once successful photographed one......they are gone before I can get anywhere near them.

    Nice work, I'm sure you will figure out the stacking technique,

    thanks for comments,brian is right. ive been pretty good at stacking recently but these little guys were a challenge.
    going back to their home by the lake next time i go fishing. for another try!
