A few wide-open flower shots

These were all shot at f/2.8 with the Canon 100mm macro yesterday at a local garden. For flowers, I actually like the lower DOF on macros, and most importantly, I can be lazy and hand-hold the camera and not use a flash
And the lone critter(s) shot (would have been better at a smaller aperture, but I didn't have a flash or tripod):

I was lucky with the bee shot (manual focus at f/2.8, had to crank the ISO to 1000 since it was pretty dark), the little guy was moving all over the place, at least the bumble bees tend to stick around a little longer before flying away.
I have no idea how some of the people here get in-focus critter shots with the 5x macro, that requires a level of skill and patience I haven't achieved yet, maybe I'll have to buy that lens so I can learn

I love the last shot with the Bee and the bonus small bug on the flower
What a fluffy bee, must have washed it's hair and cant do a thing with it.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I can't name any of the flowers (except the iris).
