This was my second attempt at shooting some bladers. Once again it was overcast making the sky look blown out. CC Welcome.

    Some pretty good action photos there matt considering the light you had to contend with.

    These are much better than the first set. Much better....

    How come none of these kids are wearing helmets and protective gear? Besides the obvious reason to do so, you'd think the city's insurance would require it?

    That was going to be my critique as well, I think it's crazy what they do or try to do with out protective gear,
    also I don't know if it was mentioned before but wide angle traditionally looks better for these shots, real wide fisheye is even better.

    These were shot with my 28-70. I wish I could afford another lens, I want a 12-24.:D

    I'd rather the sky was blown than the skin tones. You did well given the
    circumstance and your gear.
