Last week's wedding
Alrighty. Last weekend I had my wedding kick-off. The couple was really nice and easy to work with ... here are some photos, C & C more than welcome ... there are a few more on my blog.
One more thing. I signed up for the PhotoVersion DVDs from Ed Pierce, and have to say that I LOVE them!!! Such great information. They give you all the insider tips (for seniors, weddings, babies & other portrait photography) & tell you all about their setting and composition. Just thought I would mention it, as I think many of you would enjoy watching them!!! :thumb
Anyway, here we go:

Yup, churches in MA are dark .... but this time I was lucky enough to have some light come in through a window - and I actually didn't even have to shoot my flash ....
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.
12. (one of my favorites ... love the sunbeam coming in too)
13.
14. (not a big fan of soft focus, but I think it works on this one):
15.
16.
17. An other one of my favorites .... I kind of like the perspective, and the sun beam coming in (again) Thought the "red" would be too much, but when I took it out, it looked like something was missing .... / I know it still has a bit too much blue in it, but I kind of like the look.

You have some beautiful photographs here...and that church has to be one of the most awesome settings I have ever seen. For favorites.....tough call...but I think 12 and 18 for me!
Thanks for sharing.

With #5, you've chosen a different look. I like that--and good use of the
WA too #1 is a good idea but I think the shoes and foreground
need more light--the eye is drawn immediately to the lamp in the corner.
To fix this, you might mask off the top half of the image and make the
fg a tad brighter.
Thanks KateBeth! ) Yes, I think she was quite happy when she saw the first few teasers I sent her .... (I'm always nervous, you never know ...) ;o)
Thanks Jeff #12 is my favorite too. I used to hate shooting against the light, but I might have discovered something new (for me) YAY, glad this shot worked out
Hi Ian. Thanks for your detailed comments!! You are abolutely right about #8 & #1 ... sometimes it takes an other set of eyes to see the problem THANK YOU!
I really like 5,8,12, and 18
on 17 I think the blue tinting on the dress is a little bit much for me.
overall, they look excellent.

Tomorrow I have an other wedding .... unfortunately it looks like it will be raining ... :cry
Thanks Blurmore. Yeah, I wish I would have an editor ... but I used to do that for my last 60 weddings, going through 1600 every week is not much fun (well, very time consuming). So there is not much 'loving life" during the summer season with a workday until 2am / 14h a day. Luckely I only have to do my very best for around 300 images, the rest is just basic PP work.
Thanks for your comment!
Btw. Just went on your blog ... amazing work!!!
