Nice Day in Mom's Backyard - Birds and Deer

I did quite a bit of shooting at my mom's place outside San Antonio. We had a hummingbird get trapped in the garage--kept trying to get out a closed window! I was able to pick it up and take it outside, where I tried to clean off the cobwebs it had flown into. Decided to take a few pics while it was resting--it did fly off, apparently unharmed!

Also got a couple nice shots of the ever-present deer.

    Lovely black chinned hummingbird. The poor guy looks tired, but I am glad it flew away. That deer is too cute trying to get water. SA is like my second home. I'll be visiting in June too.

    I had been trying to get a picture of a humming bird and while I was at work my wife got several. I was shocked because she does not take
    many pictures. She said it flew in the house while she had the door open I told her that was cheating Laughing.gif.
