Yup, thats a good one thumb.gif , It's a bit over exposed, but if you're up for some editing, I would use levels or curves to bring back the exposure and the higher contrast will make it really gritty. thumb.gif

It's so close to a great shot, I hope I haven't overstepped by editing your image, if I have please let me know and I'll delete it.

    GP,

I have to agree with Ian. This shot has limitless possibilities. GREAT facial features and hands thumb.gifthumb.gif I hope you forgive Ian for messing with your image. That way maybe you can also forgive me too.....Laughing.gif

I just couldn't help it. He has a perfect face for some draganizing, IMO.

    Ian,

I appreciate all the help I can get. I will try what you suggested. I am happy that the raw material was there. I like how you have improved it.

    Thanks,

    Gary

OK, I like this too. Tell me a little about how you did your adjustment. If it isn't a trade secret!

    regards,

    Gary,
I've done some of these manually

    http://www.pbase.com/slo2k/image/32219023 original file

    http://www.pbase.com/slo2k/image/32232521 my manual attempt

In the manual versions I used quite a bit more saturation. For your pic all I did was run Mike Warren's Action and the 10D finisher "Subtle Color" Action.

You can find the 10D Finisher Action, about 1/2 way down the page, here http://www.canonians.com/sharpentest.htm

Look for Mike Warren's "Dragan Action" here
    http://www.atncentral.com/download.htm

Glad you liked the look of it clap.gif
