HI folks,

I made this photo today and was hoping it is good enough to enter in a photo contest (local). I personally only have one issue with it, unfortunately nothing that I can fix. Hoping to go for a reshoot but who knows if I'll see another of these fellas out running in the desert. :dunno

Anyway, please C&C and let me know what you think.

    It's a nice shot. :D

Unfortunately the branch and lack of tail kinda ruin it for contest caliber...IMO.

If there is enough resolution, you could try cropping it for more of a portrait type shot.

    Thanks everyone :D

Ric, THe originaly photo has the rest of the tail in it. I cropped it out because this guy is so long that he gets lost in the branches if I leave everything else in there.

I just checked doing a portrait crop but it doesn't work. I doubt I'd even be able to print a decent 4x6 with that tight of a crop.
