Just getting into polo photography at the moment. Spectacular game. Here's a few shots from yesterday...

Any polo shooters care to share tips? I'm hungry for any info.

Cheers

I have not had the chance to shoot Polo, but as someone who has been involved in the Equestrian community for years I have to say that I greatly enjoyed your photos.. Really gave a feel for the intensity of the match.

Very nice. I shot one practice (with wrong lens) and I'm going back for the matches. I'm not happy with them, but I'll contribute.

It seems to me there are two approaches to shooting polo. From the side you see the beauty of the muscled horses. From the goal you see more of the contest, with the fronts of horses and the players leaning the others away. My .02

BTW Andrew 1 & 2 are great - shutter speed & DOF spot on. Your shots inspired me to shoot a polo practice yesterday.
