I was @ the Cemetary this weekend , and we had some really beautiful cloud formations .
I saw this monument , and thought it was so beautiful .
Which 1 of the three gives you more of an impacting image ???

    15524779-Ti.gif with all above, #1 does it. Except the stone needs some filllght. Maybe get that stone to glow, a bit! It's what needs highlighting as your main subject! A bit gloomy, right now.

    I like #3. The message is the subject. However I'd include the entire base and less sky and get a bit more contrast between the words and the pages. In #1 the book is competing with the tree for attention.Just my $.02

    Out of this set. #1. I agree with Aaron about the pedestal though. Needs
    more of it. IMHO, This is a shot prime for forced perspective. + lighting of
    stone text as mentioned. Another 2 cents tossed in your hat. :D Michael

    If you only knew how this helps . I tried different compositions , and am trying to learn what works/does'nt .
    You know , their is different tastes for all , so it is this medium I am looking for ...

    Don't know if I like the slant or not but the overall image quality of the book and wall is the best of the bunch.

    pics. I know it can work though. Just haven't found the right thing for
    me yet. :D
