Hi all.
I'm wondering if anyone has any good recommendations of a camera bag that is designed to be worn on your chest for skiing?
I've skiied a fair bit with a couple of different backpacks and a beltpack. (fanny pack in the US, fanny means something entirely different in this part of the world :huh) But they are a pain when getting on and off chairlifts, either you take them on and off for each run or you have to sit so far forward on the chair that you feel like you could fall off. Beltpacks throw my balance off too far. Getting the camera out in a hurry when wearing gloves is also a pain.
I'd like to carry just the 24-105L on a 5D in a reasonably lightweight pouch on my front. either a sideloader or toploader with good tight straps, maybe ones that cross over at the back.
Anyone used or seen something similar? There is surprisingly little I could find from the major companies when it comes to skiing bags.
