My favourite bee - #1 is the female and the rest of the shots are of a cold male I found the other morning. After shooting I warmed it up on my hand for a few mins before it was able to fly off.

These are just lovely Brian. Because of you and others like you I have gradually become so much more conscious of the miniature world around me. Never knew it's inhabitants were so beautiful. I am fascinated by it.

I can see why you like this variety Brian,
they are real nice looking bees.. is the male far more hairy than the female or is it just the angle you shot the female from?
