My favourite bee - #1 is the female and the rest of the shots are of a cold male I found the other morning. After shooting I warmed it up on my hand for a few mins before it was able to fly off.

they are real nice looking bees.. is the male far more hairy than the female or is it just the angle you shot the female from?
