One last GIF (goose in flight)

I was cataloging images and cleaning up folders when I ran across this image from a few weeks ago that I had overlooked and/or forgotten to process. Don't know how I missed this one. I think it's one of the my better BIF captures to date.

manual exposure, auto WB, AF, 1/1250s f/5.6 at 300.0mm iso500

    I think Canada Geese make excellent subjects for flight shots. They are large enough and don't flap their wings too vigorously. They are quite graceful in the air.

    Thanks for the comments, everyone. This was a pleasant surprise to find for sure. The geese this spring did make for some good learning. As pointed out they are a reasonable target to track, get focused on, and stop the wings. And they also live fairly tumultous lives. So if you find a flock on the ground that is accessible and just hang around a while, you'll get a few chances for BIFsclap.gif
