i saw this sawfly on a butter cup flower.so i held it with my left hand so it didnt move in the wind then i could rest my camera on my left hand and move the camera back and forth until i was in focus
That day was very windy.If it wasnt windy i doubt i could of held the flower with out the fly flying off.On windy days you be surprised the amount of good shots u can get by holding the flower.

Sure is covered in Pollen, I often wonder how bugs vision is affected when their eyes have a lot of debris or pollen on them
I don't know how you guys do these shots in the wind or holding with one had
