"Face into the wind boys"
This is from our first night out in Mull and my first evening with my new camera in hand.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I stumbled behind some hills upon these hidden Megalights (meaning big stone in Greek).
Almost untouched by time and history I wondered how many empires have come and gone since these rocks have been standing there.
As if they are looking away from man’s great new purpose of senseless constructions or should I say aimless destructions, these three rocks stand inside a circle of stones. Facing the western northern winds, I stood with them for a while hypnotized by all the wild beauty around us.

It definitly makes one stop and pause. If only rocks could talk...what a story they could tell.

such a great capture,
This is very, very cool.
What was it with the Celts and standing stones, anyway?!
Nicely rendered image.
