She is a pretty girl with a pretty smile. Guess all I would do (and it would be experimental) is giving it a bit more sat/pop. Lighting appears just a tad flat but still a nice shot.

Thanks Swartzy...took your advice and changed the image a bit...hope you can notice the difference now.
Oh Yea! Now you're cookin! thumb one more little trick.....create new layer (under layer menu up top), set mode to "overlay", then check the box for filling with neutral gray. On that layer, use small brush at 15% opacity and paint the teeth and whites of the eyes...then maybe lower the opacity of that layer to about 50%. This will make the eyes sparkle...sometimes I do the entire eye dependant on the look.
nice bg/fg separation with blur and luminosity, DOF is spot on
Cons
lighting is a bit flat
tiny whitish skin defect (or whatever) under *her* left eye
Good job overall!
Wow thanks for separating the two (pros/cons)...I see what you mean about the white spot...she had a small blemish...I suspect when I was healing it out...I went overboard. Thanks for noticing that.
Seneca, how did you pose her for this shot? Are you standing on a stepladder while you took this photo? I'm curious about the perspective you've achieved.
