I know birds aren't for everyone but I find myself shooting them more and more. I've been trying to get my photography to the next level and I'm having a hard time breaking through that next barrier. C&C always welcome.

Good and unique shot of a hummingbird.

I can't speak for everyone, but if you look att he history of posts on this board, most are birds. I think most people just like animals, period. Birds happen to be the "easiest" to shoot as they are seen most often.

Thanks for all the kind comments.

summerz: Mine was too last year but I think I was late getting the feeders out this year. I only have two now. As soon as I pull the camera out, sitting in the same spot I sit without the camera, they disappear. I can sit there for hours, nothing. Put the camera away, here they come. Drives me crazy.

Actually there are two kinds of photographers: Bird photographers and photographers who want to capture birds but haven't realized it yet. :ivar

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
