dark grey box around my gallery!

I got a customized theme from a fellow SM user and it worked on all the galleries/pages except the main page! I still have the dark grey box around the gallery. I can't get it to go away! PLEASE HELP!:dunno :scratch

also! I tried to change the color to a grey color for the whole pages and it is still white! AHHH
