I've met recently that carnivorous fly and jumper spider, and jumper impressed me mostly. I think (s)he's very cute with fast jumping and perfect mimicry

Well done Phil, you and Brian are certainly singing from the same hymn sheet when it comes to this game. I honestly think I have given up with the MPE as I just cannot seem to produce the shots that are worthy displaying on here.

I have seen the carnivious fly before...we call them blowflies. They are definately pests here in Alaska when moose butchering time comes.

The insectivorus fly is a muscid probably Coenosia tigrina
#5 is a dolichopid fly
#6 & #7 is a sawfly
Last shot is an Ichneumon wasp

Ohhhhhh boy, you sure did have a Good Fly Day Wow even!
Checking out the 2nd and 3rd shots, seems your Predator has given the prey the big smack down..... looks like he's crushed the eye of the prey ?

thanks maxine, this was second of the two carnivorous flys found,this one a lot bigger than first,maybe male & female. quite lucky to find them !
