I have the Gretagmacbeth i1 calibrate tool. I tried hooking it up on my DELL m1530 (VISTA) and was able to calibrate after updating to v3.6.2.
When I rebooted the standard profile loaded, then my calibrate profile loaded for a second then went back to the standard profile.
Does anybody know how to keep my profile from unloading?

In a word, no. When you mention Vista, everything I knew evidently got a big reset -- vista has a new color management subsystem. I'd go look at whatever shows up in the control panel and see if anything looks suspicious. Look for Adobe Gamma (which should not be used if you have a Pantone/GMB i1) or the Color control. Check your startup sequence and see if anything loads after 'logo calibration loader' (which is the profile loader) that might reset things.
Sorry to be so general about this, but I'm avoiding vista for now. :uhoh
