Damselfly on an Iris leaf:

Down by the canal, these are damselfly photographs (not to be mistaken for dragonflies -for those who don't know, damsels fold their wings) that had for most of the time landed on the Iris plants on the edge of the canal water.

Couldn't seem to get the timing right for perfect focus - there was a decent bit of breeze along the canal which was often moving the plantlife.
