At least that is what I think this little golden coloured British beetle is. I found lots of these alongside the local canal banks, mostly on the Iris leaves.
At first I wondered if it was a cardinal or a soldier beetle, but the colour of them all was definately golden and nowhere even remotely red.
If the beetle name is wrong (anyone) I will re-title the thread, lol...
