You are out on a hot sunny day, you take your shirt off to catch some rays (hoping the women would too, heheheh) and before you know it... OUCH!!!

    Be suprised if these bite you Paul - they are dungflies - they do eat other flies though. Much more likely to be bitten by a member of the horse fly tribe. Lovely shots BTW.

    Hi Paul, here in Australia we have this horrid fly called a March Fly,
    I think their correct name is Stable Fly.

    Now these guys have a very powerful bite and you know straight away you've been bitten....... they just look like huge Blow Flies.

    Glad your misidentified fly is not a bitter, maybe they dont like exposed Chests rolleyes1.gif ... Skippy :D
